Organizing a wedding abroad can seem overwhelming but don't worry, we’ve got you covered every step of the way!

The dry season typically runs from April to October with June to August considered to be high season. Having a tropical climate means that it can rain at any time, but the odds would be in your favour by selecting dates within this range.

We recommend at least 12 months in advance in order to guarantee the venue you want and to avoid missing out on your preferred dates. However, we’ve planned weddings with only months’ notice, and small group elopement ceremonies can often be booked closer to the date. So, whenever you’re ready to make a booking!

Yes. A full legal wedding will usually require additional paperwork for foreign couples, including obtaining a Certificate of No Impediment from the Consulate of your home country, lodging the marriage with the Civil Registry Office in the banjar where the ceremony will take place and arrange for a Civil Registrar to be in attendance. There are steps to be followed but we’ll guide you every step of the way and arrange a courier service to the Consulate if necessary. After the ceremony, you will receive a civil marriage certificate, which is the legalizing document that should be lodged with Births, Deaths & Marriages in your home country.

To avoid the paperwork of being legally married, the vast majority of our couples prefer to book a non-legal ceremony in Bali and arrange the legal paperwork in their home country. Our range of non-legal ceremonies include all the trappings of a legal wedding but without the legal paperwork.

Once you make and confirm your booking with us through paying a deposit, you will be introduced to your dedicated wedding planner who will be with you every step of the way, right up to heading the coordination team to manage your wedding on the day. Even before you’ve booked with us, we can arrange for you to have preliminary discussions via a WhatsApp call with our Events Manager.

Typically, our terms of payment are a 50% deposit to confirm your booking with us, with final payment due 60 days before the date. These terms are typical when booking a wedding in Bali although, in some cases, venues will accept a lesser deposit or request a series of progress payments.

Yes. If you’re coming to Bali, we can book appointments for you to visit your venue shortlist before making a final decision, along with an escort service with one of our wedding planners. Otherwise, we can visit the venue on your behalf and arrange for a virtual video tour.

Yes. We can book this a few days before the day of the wedding so you can make a final decision on food menus.

It depends. If the wedding is being held in a resort hotel, the resort will charge you a corkage fee per bottle of alcohol, which can be steep. It's now also a requirement that any bottled alcohol brought into the resort must have been purchased through an authorized outlet in Bali, with a customs stamp visible on each bottle to show that duty has been paid. Resort hotels won't accept bottled alcohol brought into the wedding that has been purchased duty-free, as this is considered to be for personal use only. So in this case, the answer is probably no.

However, a big advantage with villa weddings is that outside caterers will usually allow bottled alcohol to be brought into the venue without charging corkage fees, as long as a non-alcoholic drinks package is purchased. Bottled alcohol purchased duty-free will also usually be allowed.

Drinks packages at villa weddings are also usually cheaper than an equivalent package at resort hotel weddings.
